Still dealing with the bronchitis, so I haven't done any running. I've never been sure when you should feel pretty good about starting to run after you've been sick. I worked a half day today, and I'll be at work a full day tomorrow, but work is a lot less strenuous than running. I think I'll shoot for Saturday, depending on how I feel.

Erin,
Don't hold me to this, I'm just thinking with my fingers ... but it seems to me that L's hill phase could be looked at as drills, in which one is developing the various muscles one needs. I think that a number of Dr R's DVD Sec. 2 and 3 drills are comparable in effect to the hill stuff. Probably one can just ignore the "push-off" stuff, and the high-knees stuff as being ideas that have been superceded, without rejecting the idea that hill drills are vitally important.
Maybe this would be a good subject for discussion on the Pose site -- how can we understand and derive value from L's hill phase, in light of what we know from Pose?
