I got over my little quad problem, and had good runs yesterday and today. I felt great today, actually. Typical day after drills. I did 50 min., which is sort of a lot right now, and it was wonderful. Running can be very meditative, and pose running, I think, especially so. I am really learning to relax and that adds to the meditative effect. I ran really slow. I try not to obsess about that, but I hate running slower than 9 min./mile. Probably the fact that it was dark kind of hurt my pace a little because I was tentative on the grassy areas where the footing is a little weird.
Tomorrow I'll be doing some drills again and going longer on Sunday. Maybe 70 min. I think I should be good for that. I'll just make sure that I watch any downhills.
